Tulsa Beacon Reviews The Sound of Honor

HAWK's newest release, Jim Stovall's The Sound of Honor was recently given a glowing review at the Tulsa Beacon:
The Sound of Honor is a thoroughly enjoyable story. Jacob Dyer is a blind man who enjoys a good cigar and a glass of champagne (or other adult beverage, if not available) and owns the business, Dyer Straits Lost and Found, based in Tulsa. Monica is his able assistant and a colorful character in her own right. Franklin, “on loan” from a rich widow who was especially pleased with their services, is so much more than just a British limo driver.

And at TulsaBusiness.com Jim takes a moment to remember Robert B. Parker, who passed away last week:
You can imagine my jubilation when the legendary Robert B. Parker read my manuscript for The Sound of Honor and was willing to write the following endorsement for the book cover. “The Sound of Honor is everything a novel should be, including good. Its hero Jacob Dyer gives us a brilliant introduction to how the world feels to a blind detective. Don’t miss it.” ... When you do your best and pursue your passion, you not only succeed, but you inspire others to try. I will always remember Robert B. Parker for dozens of books, movies, and television shows, but mostly for encouraging a struggling blind guy to simply try.
